He is a past president of the River Basin Management Society, was chair of the organising committee for the 6th and 7th Australian Stream Management Conferences and founded Wise Waterways, the stream management training course held annually in North East Victoria.
Ross has worked in the field of waterway and environmental water resource management for over 35 years and is an advocate for effective integrated catchment and waterway management.
