Dr Siwan Lovett is the Managing Director of the Australian River Restoration Centre, an organisation she founded in 2008. She is a social ecologist who values and encourages connection between people and nature. Siwan has been working in river management since 1998, and is known for her science communication, facilitation and project management skills. She has co-founded and facilitated the Twinning is Winning Waterway Management Mentoring Program, as well as co-facilitating the Peter Cullen Trust Science to Policy Leadership Program for three years. She is now focusing her energies on inspiring the current and next generation of river managers by sharing what she has learnt, and continuing to develop new and innovative ways of creating and maintaining connection.
